Christian Dior Parfums has opened a new permanent beauty boutique at Oakbrook Center, in Illinois, according to WWD. L'espace showcases an olfactory discovery experience, designed by Francis Kurkdjian, the house's fragrance creative director, with an image and makeup component conceived by Peter Philips.
The heart of the store is occupied by the Collection Privée Christian Dior, a selection of unique olfactory silhouettes. Around it, skincare, makeup, customisable fragrance trunks, cases, caps and fashion accessories complete the offering, along with a service suite dedicated to skin consultations.
The boutique features the house's flagship fragrance franchises (Miss Dior, J'adore, Dior Homme, Sauvage) as well as the skincare collections L'Or de Vie, Dior Capture and Dior Prestige, and the makeup lines Dior Forever and Dior Backstage. Exceptional pieces, artisanal collectibles such as the Miss Dior by Judy Chicago collaboration and the Récoltes Majeures collection, are also featured.
This permanent opening follows an immersive pop-up held in August at South Coast Plaza, in Costa Mesa, Californie, centred on the fragrance franchise and its history. This pop-up had opened a day after the launch of the latest Miss Dior campaign with Natalie Portman, the house's longtime ambassador.
