Ferragamo has reopened its flagship store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, marking the first U.S. implementation of its new global retail concept. The boutique, developed by creative director Maximilian Davis and architect Vincent Van Duysen, is located at 357 North Rodeo Drive.
This concept made its debut at the Via Monte Napoleone boutique in Milan in 2024, before being adapted for the U.S. market. According to WWD, it is currently being rolled out across the brand's main points of sale.
A location steeped in history
The choice of Beverly Hills is no accident: it was here that founder Salvatore Ferragamo established his business in the États-Unis, when he was only 29 years old and, according to WWD, enjoyed extraordinary success. Leonardo Ferragamo, executive chairman of the Maison and son of the founder, recalled that it was exactly 100 years before the reopening that his father decided to return to Italie.
Leonardo Ferragamo described the new flagship as « the most representative expression of Ferragamo today ». He added: « In many ways, returning here with a renewed vision is both a celebration of our legacy and a statement of where we see Ferragamo heading in the future. »
Architecture and materials
The 9,300-square-foot store includes dedicated spaces for ready-to-wear, handbags, shoes and accessories. L'extérieur, clad in textured Chambolle stone, reinterprets the Florentine bugnato tradition through an engraved pattern. Floor-to-ceiling windows and a recessed entrance bring natural light into the space.
Inside, the finishes combine natural stone, textured plaster, glossy resin and red marble, for a decor designed to evoke a contemporary Italian home, with custom-made furniture, layered lighting and artisanal finishes.
For Leonardo Ferragamo, this consistency between heritage and renewal should continue to shape the brand's trajectory: « Ferragamo has always evolved by remaining true to its values, and I believe that consistency will continue to guide the next chapter of our journey. »
