Interparfums announced on Tuesday 22 September that it had concluded a global licence agreement with Puma for the exclusive creation, development, production and distribution of fragrances under the sports brand's name. L'accord runs for a period of 10 years, until 31 December 2037.

The group plans to launch its first Puma-branded fragrance during the course of 2027. Interparfums designs and distributes a wide range of prestige fragrances and related products across the world.

Jean Madar, chairman and chief executive officer of Interparfums Inc., underlines the image of the new licence: « Puma est une marque mondiale emblématique qui associe sport de haut niveau, culture, mode et style de vie ». On the Puma side, Nina Jacobsen, director of licensing, highlights the French group's expertise: « Interparfums s'est forgé une réputation exceptionnelle en traduisant l'essence de marques emblématiques en expériences olfactives uniques, grâce à son savoir-faire bien rodé, sa présence mondiale et sa connaissance approfondie des consommateurs. Ensemble, nous comptons tirer parti de la pertinence ».

An expanded licence portfolio

With Puma, Interparfums adds to a portfolio of licensed brands that already includes Abercrombie & Fitch, Anna Sui, Boucheron, Coach, Donna Karan/DKNY, Emanuel Ungaro, Ferragamo, Graff, Guess, Hollister, Jimmy Choo, Karl Lagerfeld, Kate Spade, Lacoste, Longchamp, MCM, Moncler, Montblanc, Oscar de la Renta, Roberto Cavalli and Van Cleef & Arpels. The group also owns several proprietary brands, including Annick Goutal, Lanvin, Off-White, Rochas and Solférino.
